40 anglers signed on for the 4th & final 'FOUR SEASONS' interclub competition. Testing conditions, probably the worst we've faced, provided a good return of fish. Huss, Whiting, Flounder, Conger, Cod, Dab & Dogfish were returned to the scales.
Well done to anyone that fished & especially to those who managed to bring fish back for the weigh in. Paul Hawken took 1st place on the night, with a combined % of 231.50% for his Whiting & Dogfish. This added 7 points to the 11 he had already accrued through the year, proving to be the most consistent individual & with a total of 18 points, Paul was crowned as the top angler.
With Chris Phillips 3rd, (155.76%) & Pete Wilkins 7th, (111.78%).....Grenville took their overall percentage to 915.34% & thus were ultimately the top club over the 4 legs, by some distance.
It was P&DSAA's turn to host the weigh in, yet again a brilliant social affair, with good banter & laughs aplenty. Massive appreciation to Martin, Sarah & staff at the Golden Lion for providing the venue, food & a great night.
A fantastic series of competitions & a special thank you to Steve, Nigel, Ron & Geordie for organising them.
Congratulations to Paul Hawken & Grenville SAC, winners of the single angler category & the overall club percentage for the entire competition. A small presentation to be held at the first weigh in of next year. Well done to everyone!!! Looking forward to next year.

This is a challenging & exciting prospect for 2015, hopefully the beginning of a great partnership between our clubs & the chance not only to challenge yourselves, but also to indulge in the more social side to club angling.
Wishing you all the best of success.
