A really good night in St Dennis, for Grenville SAC's Open weigh in. The event was well attended with angler's & their families, from a number of affiliated clubs. As well as the impressive top 8 fish, there was also bass, wrasse, shore rockling, smooth hound's, thin lip mullet & a 9lb thornback ray that didn't quite make the final winner's rostrum. Well done to all angler's that entered the competition, returned fish to the scales & especially to this year's winners.
A fantastic social event hosted by Grenville SAC, with laugh's & banter aplenty. A brilliant evening was had by all that attended. There was a raffle, with a large array of prizes & some very welcome & tasty, pasties & roast potatoes. A nice touch was that the 2 junior entrant's both recieved prizes of rig organiser's, lures & a tackle bag. The event was hosted by Grenville's irrepressible & unrivalled John Keast, who did a top job of compering, keeping order & presenting the winner's. Well done Keasty! & thank you for a great night.
